1923-S 25c Standing Liberty Silver Quarter
1923-S 25c Standing Liberty Silver Quarter
The 1923-S Standing Liberty Quarter is a popular key date in the series and one of the best San Francisco dates overall. Collectible in all grades with a gradual increase in value from circulated to uncirculated where it becomes truly scarce. Very scarce as a gem in MS65 and MS66. Then it takes a jump into MS67 at which point, or finer, is considered rare.
Obverse: MacNeil's Liberty stands with one hand holding an olive branch, the other bearing a shield. A ribbon connects the branch to the shield. The world LIBERTY appears across the top periphery and the date is centered at the bottom. 13 stars appear to the side of Liberty. Mint mark, if any, is positioned above the date to the left of Liberty.
Reverse: An eagle in full flight, facing right, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above the great raptor. Stars flank the left and right peripheries with the words QUARTER DOLLAR at the bottom.

Nice add to my collection.
I absolutely love it. It is so beautiful. Do you have anymore 25c Standing Liberty Silver Quarters? I love them and also the 50c And dollar Standing Liberty Silver coins. Thanks again for the beautiful coin. The service was superior. PattiB
Based on the visual representation promoted, I expected at least one of the coins received to be of better quality/rating. Satisfied but not impressed.
